Navigating life successfully may not be about complicated strategies, productivity systems, or grand philosophies, but about something far more basic and surprisingly biological: the ability to maintain a regulated nervous system no matter what the outside world is doing.
YES, I LOVE what you're saying also, and to add prayer, devotions, church social connections are so joyful for me!β‘
I had my worst stress cortisol chaos when my 1st son was diagnosed with ADHD, mood disorders then later treated having some autism and he was constantly hell on wheels behaviors.
My son almost killed someone but in self defense at age 11 even. But the whole juvenile psyche centers ordeal too. I'm soo HAPPY he is past that and never ended up in a institution again. Knock on wood!!
I had to go on man's SSRI to help, how convenient for THEM, making their money on the expense of our nervous breakdowns. Peeves me, but have found joy as much as I can with trying everything as you say plus church, yoga an such. I've been off the darn ssri now,,,yeahhh!β‘
P.s. comment I'm believing more researching more on vaccines involved with chaos and these neurodevelopmental disorders. Our family definitely are avoiding vaccines now. My boys nervous systems and my own are slowly. Ever so slowly improving.....
Another awesome piece! And can I relate. As a result of my childhood and some bad events,
I tend to get stressed with things far more easily than I think is normal. I've said to myself before that I'm drowning in cortisol too often.
I KNOW they don't have our best interests in mind. In fact, they want us confused, fearful, sick and culled. For one. I work on not letting the news seep into my system and affect me. Prayer is also very important.
Yes I agree and a very good way to regulate your nervous system is to get craniosacral therapy with an osteopath as they work on the fascia on the head, neck and spine and they manipulate the cranial bones back into place releasing the pressure on the cranial nerves.
Another thing is to release the fascia under your tongue, do it every day it's amazing.
You can also check out some of their other videos and release the fascia around your ribs to help with breathing.
When we are stuck in fight or flight part of our frontal lobe shuts down affecting digestion among other things and making us less social and it's quite possible that we only function with the left side of our brains.
To gain intuition and expand our consciousness takes more than just regulating our nervous systems we also need to unblock our chakras to gain access to our pineal gland (third eye) which is probably calcified from fluoride.
I think maybe Kundalini yoga for the chakras (with Maya Fiennes) is the best option.
Grinding your teeth or clenching your jaw (Which I was doing but didn't know it!) affects the fascia in the head, neck and jaw which as you know follows down the fascial lines - no harm in checking yours especially as you can fix it yourself!
OK so you really need to do the fascial release under the tongue and make sure you breathe out fully with every out breath - that's really important.
So it's quite possible that you are clenching your jaw in a continues clench that has now become the norm and you don't realise it - believe me when I discovered this I was like - I think I'd know if I was clenching my jaw - well the reality is I was (and still am to a much lesser degree) without knowing it and it does seem unbelievable but true.
You don't just get TMJ for no reason and if there are no signs of teeth grinding I'd bet it's jaw clenching which I believe takes more of a toll on your muscles. So feel your Masseter muscles at the bottom by your jawline right at the back and your Temporalis do they feel hard? mine were like bricks. The top of my head was also flat and very sore as all the fascia was so tight it pulled everything out of alignment and that includes the tongue - you may see a little pooch under your jawline, it's not a double chin it's your tongue.
So you also need to check if you have forward head posture depending how bad it is it can disengage your core muscles and so your body clenches your jaw in an attempt to stabilise doing the job of the core muscles.
From doing the fascial release under the tongue my scm, upper traps, deltoids, pecs, masseter and temporalis have all loosened up a lot within just a week.
If you do have forward head posture it's quite possible that your whole body is out of alignment so I would recommend looking into bodyweight STOTT pilates preferably doing a course with a trained physio therapist to start with and once you know the basics buy some of the official DVDs. From someone who would exercise hard when I first went to the STOTT pilates class I thought what a waste of my money this isn't going to do anything - because the movements were so small I couldn't understand how it could do anything but how wrong I was, it's amazing.

Thank you! I will check that Kundalini reference out! Andβ¦ the other generous information you shared π
I was a certified cranial sacral therapist when I was 38.
No way - amazing!
